My whole life I have had flowers at my house.
Beautiful geraniums, petunias, portulacas, and zinnias
filled the planters and lined the walkway at my parents house.
So at our apartment we have a tiny back patio thing
and I decided it was in need of some life.
So a trip to Home Depot and 47 dollars later we had three pots full of color.
And I am very happy.
Spring is here!

Those are such sexy little flower pots! I too am deciding that my house needs more than just my frozen over and half dead plants and told Philip that I wanted to get flowers. And when he said okay, I felt that I had to admit that I wanted LOTS of flowers and that it was most likely going to be expensive, and I proceeded to tell him about this post. Lol, dang us and our need for color!
I also decided that I need your dad to come over and tell me what to do with all of my plants and shrubs, and I should call him, but since I'm awkward, it probably won't happen. :)
Ferf-
Two things.
1. Love your pots! We planted more of ours today and it made me happy. Our parents have trained us all well. Maybe that is why we sang about Heliotropes and Heartsies at Gma's funeral.
2. How do you know the girl on the blog No Payne No Gain? Just wondering because I know people get inundated with people wanting to help if they have a kid with Down's but if she EVER needs ANYTHING and you her well enough to pass on my name feel free! Just navigating the system is hard but it sounds like she is already on a good road since she is meeting with Gina Johnson (She's the head of sharing down's AZ. Anyway just thought I'd pass that along.
Heart!
So cute! Flowers make it feel so homey.
